Facebook’s privacy policy…read it!

“Choosing to make your information public is exactly what it sounds like: anyone, including people off of Facebook, will be able to see it” are Facebook’s exact words about their privacy policy.

They also state that anything public and can be shared consists of pictures, statuses, cover photos, a search on you, and websites you are linked to.

“When others share information about you, they can also choose to make it public.”

I think that this policy is really basic and straightforward. Even if people don’t read it, which let’s be honest, a lot of us don’t, we should all be aware that when we put something on the internet, it is automatically there for everyone to see. People should be really cautious about what they put on the internet because once it’s up, it’s there forever.
